What's the Jay word? JEBUS! YAY!
At 4.30 he builds a strawman out of dating fossils and then says it's circular reasoning to show how bad science is! And yet he is standing right next to a board describing radiometric dating!
It's like being b*kkaked with stupid.

At the end of the day, people will do whatever they need to to get their message across. The more obvious it becomes that what they believe is a crock of ****, the more desperate they become.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Seeing that you'd have to be insane to continue to believe in the story of creation as told in the Bible, the only option is to attempt to brainwash simple creatures, namely children (and Americans, of course)
People who continue to worship the moon in the 21st century should be put down. People who attempt to brainwash children into worshipping the moon in the 21st century should be put down twice.
EDIT - Sorry, its early. Now, I have no respect for Christians, because they simply ignore scientific fact in favour of childish fairy stories, and then have the bare faced cheek to think the deserve to be put side by side with facts. YEC are, even next to other Christians, especially cretinous, but... Did that imbecile say that T-Rex ate vegetables?
If so that man, and all others like him, have reached a new low. I honestly think there is very little difference between YEC and the mentally ill. To say the things these people say and believe they are true... you can't be completely sane. Christians - you serve no purpose, you drag the species down, and you make no sense. Please die quickly.

A good person is a good person, a bad person a bad person. The situation is never made any better because you believe in a story book written by unknown, pre-scientific peoples.
You can help old ladies across the road and warm the toes of homeless orphans, without having to believe in this utter ****.
I'm with the flat-earthers.
Out of interest, how is being taught science any different to being taught a religion? On the one hand, people say that children should make up their own minds on religion, but to then be told they must learn and obey the scientific laws and theories as gospel truth...
Personally, I disagree with the idea of creationism and feel that it's missing key parts to explain details but I'm also not a great believer in some of the stuff you get out of theoretical phyisicts either because they don't feel right.

Yet Another Science vs Religion Thread
Science is all about the facts and the evidence, religion is the total opposite. A scientist cant teach someone about how the earth goes around the sun but a religious man would say how god moves the sun around the earth.
Children cannot be trusted to make their own minds up about anything, for one I believed Santa Claus existed when I was 4. The word of god is worse, religion puts fear into children when they are at their most vulnerable into believing and practicing something which they otherwise wouldn't because of their someones insecurities (usually the parents). ... Where as science uses facts to teach children, not fear.
If someone wants to practice religion, fine by me, all the power to them. But the museum, that's giving the wrong ideas.

Sorry but your assumption that people who believe in creationism are insane is wrong, you forgot that the reason that they believe so strongly in their religion is that they have been taught to believe that their religion is the truth, this doesn't make them insane, it makes them misguided. They are only carrying on the traditions that they have learnt, it's this cycle that needs to be broken, for people to realise that religion hasn't got any relevance in our society.
Oh and don't just attack christianity, they're all as bad as each other, at least make a concerted effort to be fair and attack all religion.
Regardless of what they were taught, when they grow up, they should be able to question what they were told.
Just because you were brainwashed into accepting stories about talking snakes, and the Earth being made last thursday, when you were a child, this should not prevent you from thinking 'actually - thats all bollocks' when you become a growed up.
Adults should not believe in Santa, worship the Moon, or leave their teeth under the pillow for the tooth fairy.
The Pope is a big boy now... long time since he was in the Hitler Youth. Whats his excuse for telling people he talks to God, if not insanity? He is an adult. He knows what he is saying. He claims to talk to God. He is either lieing, mad, or both. And going on the sort of hats he wears, I'd say mad.
The best part is, he thinks he is in a position to tell me how to live my life. Oh yeah mate, because the sort of people I usually trust to give me advice are 350 year old, x-Nazis, wearing a hat taller than I am, who claims to talk to a supernatural entity who lives in the sky.
Now thats a man with his feet firmly on the ground.
As for them all being as bad as each other, this is true.
I quite like the Hindu approach - seeing as its all made up anyway, go crazy! One God is an elephant, another a chocolate hobnob called Spingy. Yet another a Frog made from glass, he controls the rain, laughter, and the formation of limescale on untreated shower rails!
AND HE WILL PUNCH YOU IN THE SPINE IF YOU DONTS WORSHIPS HIM!

It's called bible bashing !!
The fact is that adults can still believe in something to the extent of excluding all other reason on the basis that it attacks their belief. Therefore they will disregard everything that doesn't agree with their belief as being false. There are people that can see past this state of mind, and i'd class myself as one of them. My parents on the other hand who are clearly not insane (this is why i take exception to your arguement) cannot and they cling to their belief because the just don't understand the scientific world. What they have learnt through their life is much simpler for them to understand, albeit that it is wrong, so they don't try to understand scientific reasoning because it would be incomprehensible to them. For example I tried to explain how important and exciting the LHC is the other day and they just did not get it.
