I seen this posted on another forum and it was quite good so I thought I'd start one on here.

I'll start by giving you a choice. You can't reply "all" or "neither" or anything of the same meaning. You have to pick your favourite from the list. Then to continue the topic, you post another choice for someone else to answer.

Geez, must we wreck a thread just because we don't like the idea? It ought to be up to the mods to decide if Hexus is above such "lowly" form of entertainment (or if it reaches some rules on spam).

Yeah it's spammy, and I refrained from using the term 'harmless' in consideration of the fact that it is easy to rack up posts for free postage that way, but you can easily get around a no-post increasing sub-forum.

Whatever you do just don't accuse the Moderator's of being Fascists.....I did that once at OCUK........and they suspended me forever.......and they probably still don't see the irony!!

Try that in other forums (and your boss while you are at it) and see how many will take actions on you. Most I suspect. It is more inflammatory than constructive.

I have just deleted about a dozen posts in this thread, and absolutely endorse what TooNice said.

If you don't like the contents of a thread, don't post in it.

This thread is not my idea of fun either, so I looked last night, then didn't post. The reason is that while it might not interest me, as indeed a fair few threads on every single forum I've every joined don't, I don't assume that others won't find it fun.

But just because you don't like it isn't an excuse to trash it.

If everyone agrees with you, then nobody will post and it'll sink like a stone. But if people do post, then perhaps they do so because they want to take part.

Either way, again, TooNice is a right .... lets the mod team decide is a thread needs to be deleted or closed. If it breaks the rules, report it. If it doesn't, either take part or leave it alone.

And please, this is not an invitation to debate this, and if one starts and trashes this thread again, I'm not going to be amused.
