Is there any chance that you'll take your agenda somewhere else? It's getting rather dull...

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
Have to agree, they are like a digital vampire who suck dry everything they get their hands on. Hated them ever since they killed Westwood.
The only saving grace is that they products go on sale after a small moment of time has passed, unlike Activision who charge you £40 for a game, then £10 for map packs and never release modding tools.

EA's dismissive response to 'winning'.
The Forbes vote counts for little, it is easy to whip up a hate campaign. The test will be if those that voted on paper vote with their feet and wallets and stop buying the products.

The article pretty much says exactly that, and i agree with them.
Activision ruined the COD series, they changed things we needed as PC gamers and neglected the markets real needs. I stopped buying them, with the exception of black ops as we were told we would get all the things we needed, and we were lied too and never received them. I will NOT be buying any more call of duty games unless something drastic happens.
EA have ruined more titles than i care to mention, but the more recent debacle for me has been battlefield 3. The game was awesome; really well balanced, really fun and competitive. They released a patch and its ruined it, every time i have been online since then has resulted in me just being ultimately bored and leaving, infact we (being the people i usually play BF with) started playing different games such as borderlands and absolutely loving it!
I have no plans to buy their new addons which should be released any time now, but previously i wouldnt have even thought about it, i would have just got my wallet out! I have no plans to buy into the battlefield franchise again at all, unless dice fix it.
I don't see them doing anything about it because the problem is, im the minority. Most gamers bang on about being treated badly then continue to take it. The biggest example of this which comes to mind is:
Even if there was hoards of people who didnt like the new patch, they would still buy the add ons and play the game.
The corporations have won, the public are too stupid.

All I know is that Bioware used to be the best gaming house by far and since being bought by EA they are now a shadow of their former selves. There's just no emphasis on quality at EA that I can see, sadly it's more of a sign of the times.
Seriously? A computer games company is the worst compny in the US? Worse than any of the banks, or Halliburton for that matter?
Some people need to get some perspective. If you hate EA so much then vote with your wallet rather than whining about how they've ruined your favourite franchise but stumping up nonetheless.

If you read the article you will have seen that other entities you talk about got voted for in previous years.
It's the usual norm of people talking about it and having plenty to say and taking no action. I think EA are just as bad as some of the major entities in the respect that people expect to get a good product yet in return they seem to provide products that make the consumer generally unhappy.
If you spend £40 a time on a game and it turns out to be a let down and EA are pulling the little tricks as seen recently, then surely it's easy to understand the frustration of the consumer. Granted people review games and you should have a general understanding of the game before you buy it, but with companies like EA and Activision you expect big products because they give the image of a big product.
They are a power house that don't seem to have consideration for the fans of the titles they publish.
...and so people should vote with their wallets, it's honestly the only language that they understand. As is pointed out in the article (and elsewhere in this thread) people are quite happy to complain about their business practises yet still fund the company through purchases. It's easy to cast a protest vote on a website or magazine poll, seemingly harder to follow through and take action.
Yep problem is most AAA titles automatically score 90%+ in reviews. I'm sure we can all figure out why that is. How many of them actually deserve it though? The industry is corrupt as hell with EA leading that charge and Activision not far behind.
