It seems that they are probably made by OCZ and hence the OEM is most likely to be FSP:

Looks a bit like the Lian Li Silent Force to me.
£30 for a 400w modular psu, that looks like a great price.

However the issue is who the true manufacture is? and what the unit is like inside?
I do hate threads like that bit-tec one where a few of the posters clame corsair "make" the best psu's, they really don't seem to understand that neather Corsair or OCZ "make" actual psu's
The worry is that the other novatech "branded" black psu's are WinPower, aka not great
However their others are much cheaper than these ones.
Almost worth shelling out just to find out the ture manufacture.

Perhaps Novatech should provide some evidence that the PSUs are not junk by having them tested / reviewed. Removing any doubt as to the performance and quality of the units would surely increase sale. It doesn't have to be the best PSU in the world at these prices but it does need to survive a hot box test and remain in spec at the rated wattage. No amount of marketing blurb will convince me of performance or quality.
While I agree with ed^chigliak up to a point, there is more to a PSU spec than just meeting the reqirements for regulation. Perfrmance under fault conditions is as important- if not more so. Does it shut dwn safely under fault conditions would be one of my concerns - and one that isn't always addressed in reviews.
Novatech do have a reputation to consider, so I wud expect them to e reasonable - if not top notch. They get a saving by buying in bulk, and I would expect them to use them in their own OEM machines.
At that price - probably worth a shot.
