Re: Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D G and MSI p55 GD65 At 1600mhz, no. The memory is rated for 1600 at 1.8v so you'd need to overvolt your memory past the recommended point for your CPU IMC to get 1600. OFFICIAL CORSAIR TECH SUPPORT ![]() Yes, Yellowbeard, a tall rough man with a big yellow beard

Re: Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D G and MSI p55 GD65 Look here under the MEMORY tab at the Intel Memory Solutions option. This shows the appropriate memory for Core i7 and Core i5 rigs. OFFICIAL CORSAIR TECH SUPPORT ![]() Yes, Yellowbeard, a tall rough man with a big yellow beard

Re: Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D G and MSI p55 GD65 You do realise that the max RAM voltage you should be running with i5/7 is 1.65v - anything higher can damage your memory controller.

Re: Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D G and MSI p55 GD65 Just a warning for you Yellowbeard Play.com have currently got Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D with a big saving, and listed as 1.5v I almost put an order in before I thought to check here ![]() But you may get a few people wanting to know why their new low voltage memory will not run at the listed speed. http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/-/2162/14...archtype=genre aka the bargin-bucket-build Is now FINISHED

Re: Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D G and MSI p55 GD65 must admit I'm a bit confused over memory atm, it's not helped by thing like this bit-tech overclocking artical http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpu...-core-i5-750/1 They used this corsair dominator 1600mhz memory and ran it at only 1.65v most of the time, only pushing the voltage higher to break 200mhz base clock (BCLK) Ahh I may and play may have got it mixed up with CMD4GX3M2A1600C8 which is 1.65v aka the bargin-bucket-build Is now FINISHED Last edited by Pob255; 22-10-2009 at 11:43 PM..
