Could we please have an official announcement from a Scan representative about when normal service with respect to delivery and items dispatched to PDP will be resumed.
If there is one on the forum someplace could some kind soul please link me as I could not find it using the search function.
Background.
Items ordered and supposedly shipped on the 3rd. My order was dispatched according to the emails and SMS on the 3rd. PDP delivered to my address three times in the last 5 days including Sat the 4th. It seems that there is a problem somewhere as the tracking details on the PDP website suggest the item was only due to be picked up on the 7th from Scan. And was collected finally on the 8th. Item is in vehicle for delivery today.
The same thing seems to be happening with another order. According to Scan the order was dispatched but PDP have indicated that they have not collected the item as yet. Now either it is dispatched or it is not. Semantics I accept but it plays havoc with work schedules not knowing what is going on.
I fully understand that the weather has brought most things to a grinding halt - but please inform us if there is a delay from the warehouse or PDP collecting from the warehouse.
This forum is a handy medium for that communication.
