    ABIT-USA forums/ftp down?

Anybody else having problems with the official ABIT forums (forum.abit-usa.com) & FTP sites in the last 48hrs? The main www site is OK but I can't get to the others. Cheers.

Interesting side note, this seems to have affected a number of abit forums, perhaps their main server is down or something.

the USA site & the abit-USA forums are hosted separately afaik.
Most of the others seem to run off abit.com.tw. servers
johnnybravo what other official abit forums do you know of?

Don't forget they're probably still celebrating the chinese new year overseas and with the amount of messages they expected to be sent to people maybe the servers buckled under the strain.

    Just a thought

If this is a planned shut down it sure would be nice for them to say something.

nah, the abit-USA site that's up at the moment looks like it's a restore from an earlier version (no FP-IN9 SLI or F-I90HD).
My guess is that the server crashed.

Today is tomorrow. You have about 12 hr to go for them to walk in the door for work.

I talked to Marty today and he said they were kind of oblivious about it all.

Indeed, one hand has no idea what the other is/has been doing.
RMA guy seems not to be familiar with the forum.

maxwedge lives close to abit in California, maybe you should go there and plug in the server for them.

Given this amount of downtime, I'm

    a) Surprised that no scurrilous rumours about Abit's future have started

    b) Surprised that Abit aren't sufficiently concerned about such scurrilous rumours to make sure the websites and forums are restored to full working order ASAP!

Abit offices operate on there own. The abit USA forum is run completly by the abit USA office. Same as the website which is run by abit HQ in Twain. Im sure it will be back up soon.
