I know this board (A8N SLi) board is old, or atleast the one I have is.

Anyway am I correct in assuming this board will only accept DDR RAM and not DDR 2 RAM?

Yep thats correct, DDR only.

Thanks I wish I would of know this a few days ago lol.

Ordered some DDR2, completely forgot to look at the box lol, went to build PC last night and was like oh s**t lol.

Anyway, I know for future.
