NF-M2 DVI not working - again

Ok, so I had some issues last time, I put it down to drivers, reformatted, it started working ok. What happens, is that the POST displays ok, but instead of the Windows loading screen, the monitor just says no signal. Is this a dud motherboard? I'm getting quite annoyed really, because it's the SECOND time it's happened. And I really don't want to reformat again. It's not my PC, and it's embarressing for me because there's nothing wrong with the set up - I've never encountered this kind of issue before on any other computer.

Will try booting it in vga mode later when I go round, but it's such a faff - there's nothing to tie it down to, except possibly the Vista drivers. But they were working for several weeks before it went wrong!

This is an onboard Geforce 6150. Bear in mind, that it'll work if I reformat - so maybe the issue is with Windows. But it seems to happen very sporadically.

eta: enabled vga mode still died. What's wrong?

    More specs:

AMD X2 3800+ (energy efficient variant I believe) with stock cooling
    NF-M2 with Wifi
    160GB WD 1600YS RE
Using onboard Nvidia GeForce 6150 with 128mb of ram dedicated to video accelleration
    1gb DDR2 800mhz RAM (generic)
    280w enermax psu

I repeat, it wasn't having problems a few days ago, although first time I installed vista it did it, I put it down to dodgy drivers then (chipset drivers). Need to get this sorted ASAP.

http://www.fixya.com/support/t140938...or_not_working this guy had the same prob and they said reinstall windows (albeit on a different machine). I've already done that once, there's only the one partition as I thought it would be a simple machine to work with.

Ok, so I'm with the computer now, I put it in safe mode, then restarted and it booted up. Going to download the latest nvidiadrivers, but not too optimistic again, as it's happened twice now. But certainly seems to be an issue with Vista and the GeForce drivers, sorry if I sounded a bit mardy before.

    Computers are stressful
