Hi Guys,

Will this

Work with my KN8 (non-ultra, non-sli)?

I replaced the stock fan with a small zalman which is running far too hot now - running 250mhz memory (pc4000 sticks) results in crashes

Should do, but for the same price you can get this which has extra clearance to suit SLI boards which should ensure it clears your gfx card.

Edit: Scrub that - forgot where the chipset was on the vanilla KN8. The original you suggested would be better. Alternatively, this one is cheaper and probably just as good:
