    Severe problems with IP35-Pro...

    Hello,

I posted a while back on these forums regarding my PC freezing. It would lock up regularly and would need to be rebooted. It was suggested that I should try a clean install of XP, done, and that my PSU may not be up to handling the new board and my 5 HDs, I bought a corsair 620 hx. Well, now it's mostly resetting in the middle of running applications and rebooting! It only seems to happen when running apps that require both intensive CPU and disk access, ie. quickpar and nero vision. I have tested my CPU and memory (all at default levels in BIOS) with Orthos stressing for over two hours with no problems, have scanned my Raptor for errors, none. I have also reseated all parts within the MB. I can only think that it may be the MB itself. Has anyone got any suggestions, please? I'm gutted as I cannot now do anything much with my shiney new PC. Here's my spec.:

    IP35-Pro (latest BIOS)
    2x1gb Corsair 6400C5
    150gb WD Raptor
    E6750 at default speeds
    Scythe Mine CPU fan
    Corsair HX620

I've got the feeling that it will need to be RMA'd, how do I go about doing this?

    Thanks everyone!

There have been disk controller errors that suggest a dodgy cable, BUT, I have changed and re-changed the cable/s with no luck. Also, this error does not always appear after a system crash either.
