Do double boots affect lifetime of hardisks?

    Hi guys

I have got the double boots since the beginning (IP35-E).
Although a new bios solved the problem while my cpu is clocked at 2.8ghz ,when I overclock it to 3.2ghz(and higher) the double boot appear again.I would prefer to keep the higher frequency as it's perfectly stable and the temps are also acceptable ( I might forgive the doubles ), however I am concern about hard disks lifetime - eventually, how much the discs might be affected by the double boots? Is it worth to keep the higher speed?
    Thanks
    James

There is now a official release of bios 14 which may help. Doesn't appear to be on the FTP site but if you can PM me with an email address I will send it to you.

Re: Do double boots affect lifetime of hardisks?

    thank you for quick respond.

1.Could you send me the new bios at mgdp@wp.pl ( I can show the address to public as I am not scared of flooding spam - IKEA and Ashampoo write to me everyday ).

2.I am not really so worried by the doubles boots as the last update solved my problems at 2.8Ghz (my top priority), my main concern, basically is about an effect of double boot on hard disk's lifetime. My cpu seems to have unlimited potential, so anyway I wil try to overclock it higher and higher (I am affraid, even the new edition of bios one day might be not enough and it will not be Abit's fault). It's a kind of rather theoretical question to experienced technician.Could you help me with that too, please?

    Thanks

    EDIT_________

    Sean,Thank you for the bios.
