Abit IX38 + Qx 9650 out of the box?

I'd like to buy an Abit IX38 QuadGT board for my Qx 9650. The only problem is, i don't have another core2 duo at my disposal....would the board out of the box without Biosupdate support the processor?

Well.......i tried to buy an iX38 Quad GT today and i was informed that the board has problems is being taken off sale (at the etailer i contacted anyway)

I have asked in another thread but am getting no answers.

It was enough to put me off though for now.

I have no diea about that

BUt I can say the board is well designed with a few minor exception, the problem is the BIOS that is being shipped with this product.

Do you have the ABIT FTP link so i can search out the bios's for this please?

(and so i can get the new Airpace driver)
