KWorld DVBT-USB 2 Digital Box TV BOX

Well, i'm looking to purchase a TV Card or a box such as the item in the title. As it is on offer, on Today Only, I am thinking of getting this particular one.

Although, I heard the PCI Cards are alot better, my future choice of motherboard, will mean that this will not be possible, probably.

Some questions regarding the item, I have. Firstly, are the drivers for this box good enough for it to function properley? Secondly, will all I need, be an aerial cable from the roof, for the box to receive Freeview. (We have a Freeview Box working in the living room). And lastly, will this box, have 64Bit Vista drivers, coming over the next few months (I won't be getting Vista just yet. Might be up to 11 months)

Yes, all you need it an aerial cable. just like a regular set top box.

I would guess you'll have to contact Kworld about the Vista drivers.

K-world supply BDA drivers, which will allow it to work with most software.

    Yes

There is no point in me buying new hardware that doesn't/won't support 64Bit Vista. Got any suggestions? USB if possible.

in that case i wouldn't buy *any* TV card until you see 64bit Vista drivers available for download from the manufacturer. Persoanlly i think you'll wait a while, especially from some manufacturers. It will be an opertunity for them to EOL some of their older products i think.

If your looking for 64-bit Vista support then hauppauge have a few cards/USB devices which should work with this.

You can see more information Here

They are working on implementing more support for devices so keep checking that link as they should be updating it once more drivers are released.

As for kworld drivers and updates, these should also appear at the link Here once they become available.

    I hope this information helps.

    Best Regards,
