Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI fails to boot

    Hi guys,

I have read the thread below about the Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI mobo and someone had the exact same problem as I did, but there wasnät a clear solution to it.

Now the problem I am having, is that the board obviously doesn't seem to boot. The fans and LEDs turn on but i get no vid signal to the display nor any post beebs. NOTHING!

    Here the Setup:

    Intel Quad Q6600
    OCZ PC-800 2x 1GB
    TwinTech G8800GTS

I am currently running it on the mobo-box to debug with only the above installed.
    I have tried everything:

Running only one RAM instead of two
switching to a PC-667 RAM from my old PC
disassembling the CPU and HSF to check if installed correctly
switching the SLI-card to sly and back
and constantly clearing the CMOS via jumper, jumper+no batt and jumper+no batt+no powerconnection to the mobo

My Corsair PSU has a 8pin and 24pin cable so I don't think its a power issue. The G8800GTS is also connected.

The G8800GTS fan is starting like about 2-5 seconds after the cpu fan. Is that normal?

now after all the testing i think that either the mobo is wrecked or it is incombatible with the TwinTechG8800GTS.

Now it'd be nice to know which one cause doing a rma on the mobo will be cheaper than getting a new mobo or graficscard.

thanks in advance for any suggestions,

    Tomsen

Re: Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI fails to boot

First yes it is normal for the GPU fan to start a few seconds after the CPU fan

Can you see an error code on the LED display, if so please post back with the code.
Have you changed the RAM Voltage from the JDEC standard to the required voltage used by OCZ for this RAM?

Please get back to me as soon as you can and I will try to help
