500watt fsp
2gig (4x512ram)
opteron 146 @ stock
400gig of hd space

was working fine but hod power cut other day now wont start up loads bios finds all drives in bois then goes to load windows and stops on a flashing _

code 86 is what the led says but cant find any info on this

any idea would be worth a try

sounds like it isn't finding a boot drive, check boot priority.
could also be that your HDD died.

86 or 8.6.?
8.6. would generally indicate a power problem, if so can you try another PSU?

will check the code today after kids are away to school

have another psu but not a good one you think it is that?
