Question uGuru Panel or Clock with IP35 Pro XE

    Hi Folks,
The official support for the various external controls for Abit boards never lists the IP35 Pro or Pro XE as supported. My IP35 Pro XE has uGuru in it's BIOS, a supported Windows version of uGuru and most importantly a port on the physical board for connecting up a uGuru compatible external device like the Panel or Clock (versions 2/3).
Does anyone know if these devices will work in any with with my board?
Any feedback appreciated, official sites are a bit lacking in advice on these extension devices.
    Cheers,
    Albert

Re: uGuru Panel or Clock with IP35 Pro XE

I think I recall one user using a uGuru panel on an IP35 Pro. It appears to work on the IX38 splendidly. I've asked another user that has one whether he has it on his IP35 Pro or not. Keep in mind this is all for the uGuru panel; the clock I haven't even seen anyone using.

Found a seller on ebay in London selling the Clock 2 model for £5, ($10) so no harm in trying it out and I'll feedback on success (or failure).
    Cheers,

Re: uGuru Panel or Clock with IP35 Pro XE

GC-03 works fine (it was after all designed for use with the 3rd generation of uGuru)
GC-02 hardware works but the software for mail alerts etc. won't (designed for use on 2nd generation uGuru not the 3rd)
GP-02 should work fine on the hardware front & I can't remember if it has software like the GC-02 but if it does it should be the same behaviour.

Re: uGuru Panel or Clock with IP35 Pro XE

Just a Quck one, as Buff already answered it. I got ahold of a couple of GC-03 clocks/panels a week or so ago, and, put one of them on my IP35 Pro XE, and EVERYTHING works FINE! Those things are GREAT. ABIT, should REALLY bring them back for sale. THey'd make a killing. I run across people all the time looking for them. I could NOT BELIEVE running into the ones I ran into last week, but, Everybody gets a bit o' luck at times.
