    My old NF7-S needs help

I wonder if anyone can help with this.

I have an old NF7-S with a barton 2500 clocked up to 3200 this has been running fine. Now whenever I boot up the processor and memory speed is cut in half ie it shows 1100mhz and 200 mhz for memory instead of the 2200 mhz and 400 dual memory that it should be. When I go in to the bios it is all fine in there the correct speedsa are shown. I just exit and save and it boots up with the correct values.

I have to go in to bios and save each boot just to make it run at correct speed

Anyone any ideas what could be causing this...I'm a bit of a neewb to this but could it be the Bios Battery running out would this casue the bios to lose its settings???

    thanks for any help

You need a new BIOS battery dude about £3 from PC World. Just take your old one with you and make sure you get the same size!

I believe the size is 2032, either way it'll be on the battery itself.

    laze.
