    bios update gone wrong

    Updated to latest drivers and bios as i saw it supported new features i wanted/needed and it told me the flash was successful and to reboot i did this and was greated with a bios error message, i tried clearing cmos and now all i get is a black screen using both hdmi and vga for video so what should i do? is this a rma job?

    How did you flash & if you used Flashmenu what version did you use?

    You mught have to do a blind flash or at worst get a replacement BIOS chip.

    i ran it thro the untillity cd that i got with the motherboard it ran on its own and the said successfull then rebooted and black screen,

    how do i do the bling bios update

    or what chip is it that i need to buy and where can i get one from

    if you used the version on the CD then the BIOS versions over the last 18 months don't support it hence the failed flash.
    "This BIOS does not support older version of FlashMenu.
    Please update FlashMenu to V1.5.0.5 or later version prior making this update."

    Do you have a floppy disc installed (or have access to one)?
    You need 1 to do a blind flash.

    hello do u have any more info on how to bling flash the bios?
