    AW9 Dmax help needed

I've had a PSU prob for a while, so i changed out for a new one and installed it today.

Unfortunately its not booting up, im getting a red light midway down the right hand side of the board and for the life of me i cannot find my manual.

Any help appreciated as always, feeling rather annoyed atm

Violence and Lubrication is the solution to fixing everything, if it still doesn't work, you need more lubrication.

    Re: AW9 Dmax help needed

hmm, may have been a little hasty when slotting things together earlier, seems that there is an 8 pin molex connection on the old PSU and mobo, and not on the new one, which rather screws things up, taking the PSU back....

no idea how i missed that....

    Re: AW9 Dmax help needed

got the machine working atm, still got the red light but it is booting with a 4 pin molex on the right hand side of the 8 slots, not happy with that and will be taking it back to have the correct connection fitted tho.

But at least i can use this time to get updates and so on done in the meantime.

As always Buff. ye've been an awesome help, now wheres that thanks button?

8.7. is consistent with the ATX12V1 not being connected/CPU not getting correct power

The Vsb light is meant to be on & red.
