Question IP35 Pro Stuck in POST

    Hi All,

I have an IP35 Motherboard that doesn't get past 05 on the POST sequence. According to the manual's appendix 1. Blank out screen and 2. Clear CMOS Flag. If I knew what either of these meant I might get somewhere. Can anyone help me with this please?

Hi this is all I know about that unit, and that it's an IP35 Pro Off Limits Series borad.

Smile Re: IP35 Pro Stuck in POST (Fixed)

    Hi All,

Having had no success here I decided to roll up the sleeves and the unit is now fixed. I have a fan array mounted on the RAM for cooling (as the machine is used for mathematical processing i.e a glorified calculator!) and on inspection it wasn't fixed very well.

Anyway, having removed the fan array and the Ballistix RAM modules, then replacing them 1 at a time the machine fired into life each time. So I'm suspecting that one of the modules had come adrift. I've remounted the fan now and all is well.

    Thanks anyway.

    Bubba.
