    Abit ip35 pro help!!!!!

    Ok ive been playing World of warcraft for a while and had no trouble with my comp but lately my computer has been Totaly Turning off on me and giving me the 9.9 code (Complete Turn off Sequence) and when i turn on the computer it boots up fine, it only turns off on me when im Playing a game!! Any ideas??


    with the Abit mother board i got a 9600Gt nvidia videocard and a intell core 2 duo E8400 cpu which is a 3ghz, the power supply is a 630watt, and i got 8g of ram

    It helps others to help you if they know exactly what you are dealing with.
    Please supply a full system specification incl. make & models.

    from what you have said I suspect that something is probably overheating - if it's mobo related there should be a log from abitEq but it could be PSU or gfx.

    I would say its either CPU or the Power Supply getting to hot and shutting the system off. Usually if its the Video Card, you will begin to see artifact symptoms and the system will more than likely just freeze up or even reboot. A complete power down is likely PSU or CPU overheat.

    which exact RAM, which exact PSU etc. etc.
    with all that RAM have you adjusted the Vmch at all?

    To get stability using Prime 95 I had to up the MCH volts and the DDR volts even at stock frequencies
