    processer and ram settings awd9-max

    hi can anybody help please i have just bought a new q8200 quad processer and 3 gb of corsair cm2x1024 6400 800mhz

    1/ i cant seem to get the ram working how it should be speed wise
    2/ and my q8200 is not running at the right speed although am not sure if my board supports this processor

    HELP

    are you running the latest BIOS?
    As far as i can see the Q8200 isn't shown as officially supported & if it does run certainly don't expect to get much of an fsb overclock out of it.

    I can only recommend the E6600/E6450.

    I had this board running an E6600 and it was great.
    It did accept the Q6600 aswell, but the temp sensors were all over the show and stability/Overclocking were poor.
