    ab9 pro windows 7

anyone know when or where I could try to find drivers for this board ?

windows 7 locks up minutes after boot, and I can't figure out why. Almost has to be a driver issue because it works fine in safe mode.

abit website is useless and mostly broken. asia us europe have to click on all three, hopefully one will dl.

yeah but was hoping someone could point me into a new direction. I know the manufacturers update drivers for some of the specific components. realtek, sil, and jmicron for example. Trying my best to find a solution that is better than just buy a new board. because then I will want to buy lots of other parts too.

    Intel chipset from ... Intel
    JMicron from ... JMicron
    Realtek from ...Realtek
    surprising really isn't it?

the only 1 that you won't get is a driver for the uGuru chip/GUI.

    Re: ab9 pro windows 7

I have the ab9 pro running the latest bios (forget the number) and have been running Windows 7 x64 RC and more recently the full final release of Ultimate and have never had any issues with any drivers for mobo components except uGuru. I simply let the install and Windows update find them all with no issues except for uGuru like Buff says above. I found that the uGuru software (not the driver) was a real PITA so have installed it but do not have it running unless I need to make a change to the fan monitoring and then its turned straight off

..oh forgot, I do not overclock this mobo, HD are set to use AHCI and no RAID in use, system details as per the link on the right
