Hi,
I recently attempted to update my BIOS on my Abit Motherboard AN52 using the FlashMenu (BIOS Update Utility) that came with the motherboard (on disc). I ran the tool using "Update from File" and pointed it to the latest BIOS (downloaded to PC) version "16" form your website. The tool seemed to be running and updating the BIOS, until the Hardware Doctor Utility started to sound a warning and then all of the sudden the PC shut off completely (not shut down). When I went to start the PC, it is getting stuck at "Verifying DMI Pool data" and I have tried clearing CMOS (taking battery out and using jumpers as directed in the manual), booting from floppy to install the BIOS and nothing works. It just stay on "Verifying DMI Pool data" no matter what boot order I give it.
Please help! FlashMenu (BIOS Update Utility) has corrupted my motherboard BIOS and I can't get it fixed trying the normal methods
