    AS8 - SATA upgrade

    Hi,

    Does anyone know if it's possible to use an SATA II controller card with the AS8. If it is ... can the add-on card be configured to handle boot-up?

    I'm looking at PROMISE SATA300 TX4 PCI SATA II 4-Port Adapter, but I can't find any information about whether this will work ...

    Also, are there any drive size limitations with this board?

    I'm putting together a media server and my IDE drives are getting pretty old.
