    IN9 32X MAX Windows 7 Drivers

    Hi folks.

Just got some new RAM this week and decided to install windows 7.
Main installation went very smoothly but the drivers for the network card are not working.
Have tried using the nVidia drivers built in to Win7 but to no avail.

I had previously downloaded a forceware driver for 680i chipset but couldn't get it to work (then downloaded latest and same).
Although the graphics cards are working I tried using the nVidia driver and at first it would not let me, then I searched but could not find them and finally I just ran the nVidia installer but the machine crashed.

So what is wrong with these drivers and which ones am I supposed to use?

Two devices are shown in device manager:
Mass storage controller (I think this is chipset/Raid/SATA driver?)
Unknow device (Must be network card)

    Please advise.

    Re: IN9 32X MAX Windows 7 Drivers

Fixed this back in May, but just having the same problem again now after re-installing.

So will post the solution here for anybody's future reference:

Mass Storage Driver - I think Silicon Image Driver? (will update later with correct driver no.)
Unknown Device - uGuru (point to location of unpacked file on HDD)

The ethernet controller has been explained elsewhere.
Just point to location of unpacked Nforce folder and select Ehternet folder.

    Re: IN9 32X MAX Windows 7 Drivers

Currently having this issue, under network adapters I only have listed the USB device I've installed. Where am I looking to install the LAN driver? I could care less about the u-guru working since I OC in bios only. I have the SIL drivers, but not installed yet since I wanted to get the LAN sorted out first. Since I don't see any devices without drivers other than uguru and storage device, how exactly do I install the LAN driver? Can someone point me towards the right post where this was explained?

    Re: IN9 32X MAX Windows 7 Drivers

Well color me yellow and call me a boob, I power cycled the system when screwing the PSU to the case and voila the dual gigabit lan just works now.

I would like some help though, my Corsair Force3 120GB drive is working at sata150 speed, not sata2 (300) speed like it should be. The port its plugged into shows as sata1 150, is this a driver issue? Do I have a wonky cable? The cable I'm using came with the drive I think and its printer on it sata 3/6.
