AB9PRO+ Crucial Ballistix 667Mhz Ram issues!

AB9-Pro and 1gb of Crucial Ballistix 667mhz Ram. I can only boot on 1 stick in slot #1. If i put the 2nd stick into slot #3 i get the post code C1 and a long beep. If i put the 2nd stick into slot#2 i get to C5 and it hangs.
Ive tried going into bios and setting voltages higher but this does not help.
    My BIOS version is 1.5.

I am really annoyed with this its a new build that i have waited for a while for. The ram was tested in another system and was working perfectly.

    Any ideas welcome.

    Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply but our office is closed on the weekends.

Can you try a few things for me.

    1. Update the bios to v1.6
    2. Change the DDR2 voltages to match the make and model of memory.
    3. Make sure the speed & timmings are set correctly. You may have to set these yourself

Can you confirm you're sticking the ram into the 2 orange slots or the 2 green slots? These are the seperate channels to give Dual channel running.
Set the voltage to 2.1v in bios and see if that helps also. Shouldnt have a problem booting these sticks though, had no issues with Crucial Anniversary which is essentially the same ram

Flashed to 1.6 set voltage to 2.1v (also tried 2.2v) i put the speed, timings and the divider correctly. Saved to CMOS.
Put 2nd stick in booted and i get C1 error with the long beeps. It cant be the RAM as it has been tested in another motherboard and both sticks boot on their own.

Yes i put them both in the orange slots as that is Dual channel. The RAM slot must be faulty or damaged , i will have to RMA the board back to SCAN and purchase a different motherboard. As the AB9 has been giving way too many problems, usually when i turn off pc overnight go to boot up again it Halts on 2A and i have to clear CMOS.

Extremely annoyed with the AB9, this has put me off going for the AW9D MAX as a replacement, but ill wait and see.

Thanks for the help, im gonna RMA as this is one hell of a pain in the backside
