IB9 boot

Hi,

Just got the IB9 to go with an E4300, I really am impressed with the board considering how much it cost, the only issue that I guess you could say I am having is the fact that the fans spin up for a second, then spin down and the system boots up fine.

In itself this doesn't really bother me but is there anybody who can explain why this happens and if there is an option to turn it off?

Apart from that my first Abit board is serving me well (in the 24 hours I have had it)

which BIOS are you on?
that's supposedly fixed afaik in the beta (you can get it in the abit-USA forum beta BIOS sticky).

Release BIOS I believe, will check it out and see what goodies the beta BIOS brings. Cheers for the info.

the beta bios (1.3) doesn't solve the funny startup bug. whether it's solved other more serious issues i don't yet know as they generally take a day to manifest themselves.
