    Fusion Remote Max On/Off Switch

    Hi & welcome to the forums.....

    My on/off switch has come out of its socket on the case & it looks as if the only thing that held it in place was some some sort of melted plastic on the back of it. I took an old HP case apart at work to study its on/off switch & the design on it was different - it sort of clicked into place. The case is under a year old but don't really want to have to rma it for a switch is there anyway of getting a new switch for it? OR help me to repair it myself?. Obviously I can turn the pc on & off with the remote atm

    Hi Alistair,

    I understand that your problem. Unfortunately, the Fusion Remote Max has no user serviceable parts. Have you tried submitting a customer support ticket to try to get a replacement front panel? They can send you a new one while so that you are still able to use your current case until it arrives.

    Thanks for getting back to me Frank. Its not the button on the Front that has come out its actually the microswitch behind that with the wire attached thats come out of the socket' within the metal of the case if you follow what i mean? So can that be resolved without sending the whole think back? Unfortunately because the wire is so short I am unable to take a picture of it to show you exactly what I mean. Should I still submit a ticket ?

    Hi Alistair,

    Yes, sorry for all the trouble, but you can get a replacement without sending it back. But in order for us to properly resolve your issue, you will have to submit an RMA ticket.

    I submitted a RMA Ticket & a colleague called of yours called Jsmith was dealing with it. The last communiaton I recieved was that the replacement parts were being sent out from the US, however this was sometime ago. I haven't recieved anything to date

    BTW


    Do you intend releasing any mini-itx enclosures anytime soon? Thinking of building a HTPC using the Zotac 9300 mini itx motherboard

    Did you power switch do the same thing as mine ? If it did very poor design

    No my power switch broke on an Antec 900 case..but contacting Antec yielded the same results as you. (ie submitted tickets via the Antec website (and on Hexus) but nothing has arrived..since before Christmas in fact).

    After you colleague said that the replacement parts were being shipped I deleted the email that had the ticket no . I will email you my details anyway
