Antec 1200 door fan help

Hi,

I have the antec 1200 case, and i wanted to fit a door fan to blow air over or out from my graphics card/cpu, but the problem i have is that the cooler (megalahems) from my cpu is quite high and interferes with the top corner of the fan holder

thus making a standard depth 120mm fan unable to be fitted in to the door properly??

I wondered if anyone could recommend or know if there is slimline style 120mm fan available that would slip in the door of the antec 1200? to accomodate high coolers, i have read that some coolers can cause this problem??

There are some made by Scythe but you will have to make sure that its thin enough.

Hi gazmon,

Unfortuantely this is a problem with high profile CPU coolers like the Megahalems. You might want to check out our TrueQuiet 120 fan on our website. Maybe adjusting or removing one of the rubber corners will provide enough space?! Else you have to try to find one of the lower profile fans I guess.

Search for Scythe 120mm Slipstream on Google and you should find plenty of low profile case fans, around 12mm thickness.
