    Increase the IPod's volume...

    ...can be done. Dunno why but there seems to be a volume limiter only on Euorpean IPod's. You can bypass it by using: euPOD VolumeBoost. It gets LOUDER now

    It's a really nice application, together with Ephpod to transfer the mp3 a winning team

    or you could just go into the main menu > settings > sound check and turn it off without software via the iPod that is
