    sync software

does anyone know of any software for the mac that will sync selected folders on my mac and an external HDD...

for my PC i use AllwaySync which is great... it compares the folder on PC, and folder on HDD and then copies files from on to the other as needed so that they are the same...

    any reccomendations? preferably free....

    Re: sync software

So you are syncing various folders on a PC, a Mac, and a backup drive right?

The only way I've found of doing that fairly easily to date is to network the Mac to PC, and use the PC sync software (called GoodSync - it's free) to do all the syncing with the Mac as a network folder.

I don't see any reason you couldn't do the same. It's hardly a great solution though...lol.
