No... I'm used to something that has a well thought out, standardised design. Apple think they can do better and have failed. It's just not an ergonomically sensible design. It's also technologically ridiculous. It's just plain dumb to replace two buttons with once button and two capacitive sensors. I also imagine that because of this design decision, it uses more power.

I actually had to look up on the internet how the mighty mouse was designed (the capacitive sensors and all) before I could make the right click work; and then I had to train myself to lift my index finger suitably high above the mouse before trying to right click. Ludicrous. It is, quite literally, a perfect example of the designers choosing looks before functionality. And that is very poor design in my book.

I can understand why people don't get on with it, I am fine with it.

If you can't hack it then plug in a 2 button mouse.... easy.
Not really the point either... people are paying for these things expecting what is usually Apple's high standard of design/usability. Replacing it with a 2 button mouse means more outlay.

I'm used to it now, but I still think it's dumb. I'd be ashamed if I'd designed it.

I just got so ****ed off with this thing for it's crappy erratically working scroll ball and poor right-click detection that I just threw it against a wall and it exploded.

Good f***ing riddance. Wish I'd done it about a year ago.
