Price Check for a 15" Macbook Pro

Not sure where these go these days - but since it's Mac related I thought I'd ask here!

OK. Visiting a friend last night who is a photographer. He bought a 15" Macbook Pro a wee while ago, upgraded the RAM to 2GB and has also done something with the battery (whether he has 2 I don't know).

He hates it as it Photoshop CS2 doesn't run on it very well and wants to sell it.
He also has no idea of it's resale value. And neither do I!

What is the value of aL
* 15" Macbook Pro with 2GB ram ?
* CS2 and indesign software that may also be included in the sale.

Or....whats a reasonable offer I could make him for this kit.

Erm, you'll need to be a bit more specific than that. That's like saying, "My mate bought a car a while ago - what's it worth?". Specs would be useful.

For measure.. I sold my 15" 2GHz Core Duo MacBook Pro with 2GiB of RAM about 6-7 months ago when it was about 18 months old for £700. I think I may have sold myself a little short (it cost me £1,299 new, I believe).
