    iPhone 3G

I know that I fell for the marketing spiel

    I know that I'm a fashion victim

I know that I've probably gone for style over substance

    But I bought a 16Gb iPhone 3G on Saturday ....

    and I love it !!!

Honestly, I can't get this stupid grin off my face every time I use it, or even look at it

Well done, you have made an excellent choice

The iPhone is a lovely consumer phone, my 2G is one of the best "smartphones" i've ever used, and i've seen nothing that could tempt me away as yet

Its made such a difference to the way I work, just make sure that if you hook it up to your work exchange your deactivate the account at night or it can get quite addictive.

Oh and make sure you get super monkey ball.

Unfortunately my work Exchange is strictly (as in instant dismissal type strictly) off-limits to any pda/smartphone. Not even supposed to take a camera phone into work, let alone use it!

Anybody would think we had something worthwhile stored there

Haven't tried games on it yet - having too much fun with its basic functionality and "Liquid"

That's a bit harsh, the iPhone would only ever pull your email onto the device so anything else would be safe. We are lucky as a few directors have them now so no going back

Paranoid doesn't even begin to describe the SySops at work. But then again, after several highly publicised IT indiscretions it is perhaps hard to blame them.
