MAC edition graphics from ATI...

i've been looking around for a mac edition PCI card to stick in my new (to me anyway) G3

all i can find is the R7000 PCI MAC, and it's £100

well, i suppose i'm asking if a 'normal' card (ie the windows version of the above that's selling for 30 quid) will work, as there's little physical difference between the cards, or if it'll give me no end of hassle...

just ordered up a Saphire R7000 64Mb, so i should be flashing by tuesday.

not much i can do with it til then - the 4Mb ATI chipset is painfully slow, and 160Mb just isn't enough thankfully i have some sdram kicking about i can play with over the weekend, should improve matters.

Doubt it'll work - new sapphires have only 32Kb ROMs, not 64 as needed by the mac rom...
