    1.1Ghz 12" iBook, 1Gb RAM, 40Gb HDD, Airport Express.
    1.42Ghz Mac Mini, 1Gb RAM, 80Gb HDD.

Desperately want a more punchy machine like a dual G5 rig - will wait until after the "big switch" now, though.

    First post - help!

I have a G4 Qucksilver at home with 2g RAM and standard graphics card...can one or any of you lovely people tell me if I need to upgrade the graphics card to run a widescreen monitor (a 2405FPW or a 2005FPW)?

You may struggle with the graphics card your best bet is to find out what the card is in there is.

Go to the apple then go to about this mac.

More info and the graphics/displays and it will tell you what the card is.
