Using a lovely 20" Core Duo iMac with (shortly) a couple gigs of RAM.
macbook g4,
256mb ram
no idea about anything else...
RAM? Yes. Anything else? Virtually impossible. Apple Macintosh laptops are among the worst for user repairs/upgrades.So can you upgrade mac notebooks relatively easily then?
we have an original mac mini at work:
PowerPC G4 1.25ghz CPU, 512mb, ATI Radeon 9200 (32mb), Slot-loading Combo Drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)

Not being in a position to buy a MacBook/MacBookPro, I've just gotten myself a nice 14" iBook G4 1.42Ghz
Just need to upgrade my Quicksilver now...
@lost eden that looks a fair bit whiter than mine I need to take mine to the apple shop to get it fixed this summer
Doesn't seem like I've nearly had it a year
Ian
PS. what antiquated windows version are you using?

Heh, I haven't had mine a month now & the wrist-rests are already a delicate shade of yellow & it's already in for repairs!@lost eden that looks a fair bit whiter than mine I need to take mine to the apple shop to get it fixed this summer
That be good ol' win2kprosp4, the only version of Windows I am prepared to use. I just can't stand XP or Vista, & reserve 98se for really old hardware (like my 233MHz lappy, which actually ran surprisingly well!).PS. what antiquated windows version are you using?
Recently I got a mbp as well, 2.33 - pretty decent
