    Mac screensavers for Windows machines?

    Hi,

I went into an office the other day at work and saw a machine running this really nice screensaver of a slow motion voyage through space, with beautiful views of planets etc.

I was told later that it was a screensaver from the latest Mac OS. Does anyone know what this screensaver is called and if it is posible to get it, or a similar one, for a windows machine?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ives

It sounds like it could have just been the Cosmic screensaver, which is like a slideshow of space pictures (there are also similar-style screensavers called Beach, Forest...).
If that's what you're talking about, you can try MotionPicture (with some space pictures, I guess...).

    Thanks for the info, Nacrisa.
They weren't actually slideshows. It was more like a movie...zooming in and out.

    Cheers

Yer, its the cosmos screensaver. The zooming is zooming into stationary pictures, its a technique known as the "Ken Burns" effect

Unfortunately, it seems that you have to pay for these screensavers ....
