    OSX and remote windows /apps

    Hi all.

I am considering getting one of the delightful apple mini's as a little machine to stick in the corner and burn DVD's - host music etc etc etc.

really like the look and functionality of them, and I think they are a pretty respectable price.

The question I have is based around OSX and future releases

As apple is not based around a window manage like X11 is it possible to export a remote desktop or apps to a windows or unix based workstation.

for example on a windows machine run exceed or pcx-ware to export a remote login prompt for it ?

or from a unix based workstation, telnet in, export the DISPLAY and run say $some_apple_app and have it appear in your X11 desktop ?

    Just looking at options.

    I quite fancy a mac.

I think OSX has a Windows Remote Desktop client.

Oops. OS X has remote desktop, I wonder if they make a Windows client.
