    What was that personal radio station from ur ipod i heard abt that was leagle in the US but not here (UK)?

    niceeee, so why's it illegal in the uk?

    surely its only got a range of a few meters so what does it matter

    You need a license to broadcast in the UK.

    Even if it's only a few meters, still though if I were listening to my radio indoors I wouldn't neceserily want to hear what next door are playing on their Ipod..

    Yup, even if it's only a couple of metres, that's why they're not for sale in the UK, other than illegal imports, which we won't discuss.
