Music Players

Hi
I've now got my 12 ibook which is fab.Also now have demon broadband.
The problem is when I go onto sites such as Tower Records and try to play a music clip it will not play.Do I need to download Real Player or Windows(nooooooooooo) music player?

well i know ive got everything installed, iTunes, real player, m$ media player, VLC and i have no problem...

maybe try quicktime that comes with itunes when you download it.... that generally works. not sure about that actually, but it's worth a go! If the clip is being streamed then it should work.

Most streaming sites use either quicktime, which will play quite happily in safari, or they use Windows Media PLayer, which I have to say I have found to be very good.

Download VLC for playing downloaded video, and get WMP for streaming. Dont get real, it is the spawn of the devil, regardless of platform.

I,ve just downloaded WMP and it's now playing my clips so all seems well.

head brace you cant stream radio 1 or any other bbc stream without real player - thats the only time i use it
