    Using "tilt" control on new PB's

    Did you all see this article in Wired today? Linky. Basically some guys have hacked together some programs so that the tilt sensor built-in to the new PowerBooks can be used for things like controlling iTunes Maybe this has been posted long ago ? but it's the first I've seen of it. Now I've got another excuse for an upgrade...

    I had heard of the Bubblegym game, but I didn't thought that it had been taken further or publically so much. I like the principle of it, and the idea that a window always points upwards. Perhaps this is the basis of a new high-tech gyroscope.

    The special thing about the apple one over any others is that it is internally part of the 'book, and not part of the drive instead. This not only means that it allows different types of drives to be used, it also is accessible by the software of the mac, as shown bt these examples.
