    Question Ipod Gone Crazy!!!

Hey all, my mate has had his Ipod 20GB for about 8 months and has worked perfectly, but today as I turned it on to listen to it the thing brought up a little picture of a folder and a exclamation mark on it, so I said that the Hard Disk was broke , but then he used it and was able to look at the songs and artists just wasn't able to listen to them. So is it that the data has been corrupted and how would he go around getting it fixed?

    Thanks all

Tell him to try a hard reset, he can do this via holding Menu & Play, if that still doesn't work he needs to ascertain if his files are viewable via docking it to a PC. He can also try downloading the lastest firmware and using the repair function.
