    very interesting, my walls are not thin, infact one some of the tests I'm connecting to the AP upstairs and the laptop is downstairs, and I'm only using B protocol at 11mb, my signal stregnth is excellent mind you and I'm the only one using the wirless lan,

    What could be possible - and I'm only looking at possibilties, is that my DVD's are held on a machine thats connected to a gigabit network/switch that the WAP hangs off, so there will be no lag in getting the movies from the machine to the WAP, where as Davids whole network is based on wirless ?

    I'll run some more tests on this tonight, see if it does actually work as well as I think
