White Macbook is on it's way.

I went for the White 2.0ghz, standard ram (will upgrade to 2gb with the Corsair mentioned in another thread here) and I upgraded the HDD to 80gb.

I wanna run bootcamp, so figured the extra 20gb would be useful. I had an 80gb in my powerbook and so have plenty of stuff on DVD (using apple's dotmac "Backup") that I wanna put back etc.

Agreed, only 2 weeks, but because it spans over a month it allways seems longer.
not tempted to upgrade the drive yourself??

I thought about it, but I decided that I'd just spend the £35 to upgrade it.

Once I see some cheap USB>2.5" SATA external boxes, I'll demote the apple80gb to it and slap a larger drive in.

So hence I can check the status online, and then it has the TNT consignment number to check.

So it's now in Holland, then it needs a flight to UK, then a truck to the local branch, then a van to me.

So it could be Thursday perhaps, but more likely Friday.

Got my RAM sat here in front of me with no MacBook to fit it into! lol
