Well thats not new, when you "delete" anything in current OSX or windows it is NOT deleted, just ear marked by the OS that when space is needed it can then be deleted, not before...

Thats why there are such programs as secure shredder, which bypasses the extras and properly nukes the area of the hard drive to prevent cheeky people getting your "deleted" files, and vise versa to "recover" files in windows' system restore or 3rd party app.

Well, Time machine?? old news Apple, system restore is actually something you copied from windows..............

3 recording studios yeah. The 2.7ghz dual we have at the moment is fine but since they're spending 13 million quid - hell, why not

Of course, in reality anyone who buys the albums you produce is spending 13million quid. Can't help thinking of what Bruce Springsteen managed to produce with a couple of mics and a 4-track recorder...
    Sorry, couldn't resist it.

The 13 million quid isn't just going on 3 recording studios though - it's a whole performing arts building for a university. But all our machines will (and currently are) Mac based, and naturally for the studios we have to be seen as being cutting edge to attract the punters.
