So it's basically a port of Crossover Office from Linux to OS/X? Seems like a good idea; I'd check the list of supported applications though...there's a fair few that Crossover Office won't do.
well, so far as i can see there are no app restrictions. Id love to see the speed, how it compares to paralells and BC.
Should be faster than P, but BC? dunno.
CAN SOMEONE WITH A MACINTEL TRY THIS OUT??

Compatibility is pretty limited, and I don't see the point of it frankly. Most of the apps on their list have real Mac alternatives and if you need to run Windows you can just fire up Parallels and run it properly.
Wine has been around for a long time, but there is at least one company whose entire focus lies in helping people get it running. Which should tell you how well it works.
Compatibility list is growing, and includes loads of stuff already, The point is quite clear, the cost and speed. Cost pf parallels, £50, cost of windows £80 or pay £30 for this app alone. Yes, real mac alternatives? have you bought any recently? noticed the price compared to windows copies?
Speed, Can't say about real time obviously but on the basis you have no extra OS's to boot, even windows takes over a minute to boot in parallels. There is no boot up waiting time with this emulator
So i for one this this is great, and when my MBP arrives will be trying out the 60day free try.

I fiddled with this a few weeks ago at release, it is still extremely buggy and didnt get as far as testing the one main windows app I still use (LFS)
Hopefully come its full release it'll have much more support.
