Potholes

Is it me or are these becoming more numerous, bigger and DEEPER these days?

Don't the council DO anything anymore?

Since I've started driving i've noticed bloody tons! However, the council have gone a bit crazy and started resurfacing loads of roads in Scarborough..

its getting to the point where i am about to put in a claim for damage to my car due to the state of my local roads..

I think aberdeen city council are being quite clever. I have noticed them re-surfacing main roads and leaving the side roads as they are. This is much cheaper than installing road humps, more effective too

I have just claimed on the council for shock/wishbone damage to the near side front. Would have been a £440 bill otherwise, we don't have potholes in Kent we have craters.

One of the problems though is that the councils spend so much on claims that they can't afford to redo the roads properly, so it becomes a vicious circle.
